!On the Revolution of Ideas!

On February 9, 2009 LaTribunacolus was born into the news media world. La Tribunacolus is a media source looking to provide information for those who care about the national reality of Colombia, the United States and the world. The Tribunacolus emerges as a political, media and social alternative in all areas in Colombia and United States and the world. Since our director created this News source, he has been committed to ensure that Colombians living in and out of Colombia participate more actively in political and social changes in their country. As a way to achieve these changes a revolution of ideas has emerged. Cristhian, who is creator of the revolution of ideas, believes that this is the only to achieve the changes many people seek in their countries. An idea can change the world, and that’s why he has created this revolution in order to allow people to express their ideas, with the hope that those ideas will change their realities for the better. The revolution seeks changes in all areas, and through an opinion, an idea, a country can be changed. It’s clear that those changes won’t come from the traditional politics and their sons, who in most cases, are sold as leaders of change, but they are more of the same.

The revolution of ideas is based on people’s opinion about sensitive issues.  This revolution seeks to promote local leaders to participate with their opinions and ideas through articles to make their communities aware of their local issues. This would allow them to come up with solutions that in the end will promote real solutions for real problems. But the most important thing is that these solutions will come from the people themselves. An opinion can be a powerful weapon, and if it is used properly, it can become an idea that can make a difference. It is clear that the governments of the world sometimes are unable to provide real solutions for the people they serve, and that’s why through our website we hope to become that source of ideas and opinions of the issues that matter to everyone. What makes Latribunacolus different is that we do not apply any type of censorship to any of our journalists, and the people who submit their articles. We are here to be the voice of the community.

In the three years we have been working as a media source with www.latribunacolus.blogspot.com we have interviewed important political personalities from Colombia and U.S., we have been interviewed by the traditional press and opened the spaces of Tribunacolus to columnists and people who feel their country, their community and have given their views on issues of importance to Colombia, the United States and the world. When Cristhian began this news website of information and analysis few thought it would become what it is today, The Tribunacolus with effort, dedication and perseverance has become a ​​serious source of opinion. Columnists and journalists working for LaTribunacolus are revolutionaries who believe in this project and in the revolution of ideas. Now on December 28, 2011, a new era begins with our new website www.latribunacolus.com. This new website will have different sections for our readers to enjoy. The website will have sections such as Opinion, sports, international, art and culture sections in English for our international readers, a useful tips section and horoscope for those who believe in astrology, among others. Therefore, in celebration of our 3 years, latribunacolus invites you to participate in our online launch. This launch will start at 5pm and will continue until 11 pm the night of December 28, 2011.

For those who have contributed to LaTribunacolus we want to take this opportunity to thank them and invite them to continue supporting our effort and website. LaTribunacolus continues to grow and this is just the beginning. LaTribunacolus, with the help of its readers will become the alternative source of opinion for people living in Colombia, the U.S. and the world.
