No Corruption, no sorrow!

On the Revolution of Ideas!

There are a lot of countries that have to fight against corruption done by people in politics. These people must be punished, especially because their decisions have a strong influence on any nation around the world. These acts of corruption must be stopped and given a severe sanction. These sanctions should not only be by the law, but by the people who elect these leaders. These leaders must be taught that even though they hold power, they are accountable for their actions, and corruption is not acceptable. When people see a corrupted leader he/she must be kicked out of office, or when election time comes around, voters must not give their vote to any corrupted leader, and in this way the people find a way to punish those leaders who fail to comply with the people s interests.

One of the main reasons why we had a financial crisis in America and in Greece now is because corruption plays a crucial part in destroying an economy. Therefore, people must suffer the consequences of these acts done by our politicians. Some of these mistakes resemble the selfish and greedy attitude of some leaders, who without thinking, with their actions, almost destroyed the world, because of the power of money and corruption.

Politicians are supposed to represent the people’s interests, and must not use, for example, the tax money for their own interest. They also have to support the people who really need them, like for example, guaranteeing health insurance. Politicians have an obligation to act according to the mandate given by the people. This mandate stipulates that all public officials must not manipulate or be corrupt. Also, this mandate stipulates that government officials will work on behalf of the people who elected them, and not in favour of big corporations, who in most cases, end up taking advantage of the system. The system, which was created to help people, now works to help those who are rich become richer. Corruption and politicians sometimes play and endless game in which the people always come up short. Whenever a politician plays the game of corruption; roads, health programs, welfare, job creation and development always come up short. That’s why it’s important to control our leaders, and let them who elected them, so that the power of the people prevails over corrupted leaders and corruption, which can be a powerful enemy.

The government must enhance, and stipulate very strong measures as well as laws against corruption. Every dollar and every cent must be strictly checked and documented. If there is some suspicion, the government has to pursue those who are involved to establish who is responsible for stealing and misusing the people’s money. If politicians do not act in the people’s interest and always use “our money” for something else (like private travelling), then they must be banished from politics, go to prison or even send them into exil (it depends on how bad the crime was).

All in all, corruption leads to a dark path and that’s why we must always keep an eye on the man in the mirror so his actions coincide with the best interest of the people. We should always remember, No corruption, No sorrow! That’s the way to go to ensure that our system keeps working on behalf of the people.
